This is a PetSafe Bark Control Static Correction Collar for dogs. When triggered by the static vibration that is generated when your dog barks, this collar produces a mild shock that will startle your pet. Although it is enough for your pooch to feel it, the shock is only mildly irritating and completely safe.
The gentle shocks emitted by this collar will begin at the lowest setting, gradually increasing through 6 settings each time your pooch barks within 30 seconds of the last time it barked. If your dog doesn’t bark for 30 seconds or more, the unit is reset to the lowest level. If, within 50 seconds, your dog barks 15 times then the unit will be disabled for 15 minutes for your pooch’s safety. A beep will sound every time a shock is administered.
The waterproof unit comes with an adjustable nylon collar which is suitable for dogs with necks of up to 71 cm in circumference. It is suitable only for dogs that weigh 3.6kg or more. It requires a single 6-volt battery, which comes included, that lasts for 3-6 months. A low battery indicator will let you know when the battery needs replacing. An operating manual is included.
